Wastecorp officially launches mobile plunger pump

NEW YORK, Feb. 26/ - Wastecorp Pumps, the world's largest manufacturer of sewage transfer style plunger pumps is pleased to introduce the new mobile HPX plunger pump series www.wastecorp.com/plunger_pumps.html. The HPX brings innovative plunger pump technology anywhere tough sludge needs to be transferred. The HPX Series is available in simplex (one plunger) or duplex (dual plunger) models capable of transferring up to 18% solids at 500 GPM. The HPX is available as a skid mounted or trailer mounted model.

"Municipal wastewater treatment plants and oil field service companies have long depended on our plunger pump product line for stationary primary sewage treatment, the HPX line brings this technology anywhere our customers need to transfer sludge or wastewater," said Dan Starr, Marketing and Communications director. HPX Series plunger pumps feature premium components like 160,000 psi tensile strength shafts, biodiesel capable Yanmar diesel engines and "plunger-pac," a leak prevention packing system. Plungers can also be coated with abrasion resistant compounds for pumping select corrosive fluids.

The trailer mounted plunger pump series continues a rich history dating back to WWII. These pumps were used in the construction of remote U.S. Army and Navy bases in Hawaii and the South Pacific. The new HPX series is inspired from the original line but designed for the high demand sewage pumping applications of today.
